Money For Nothing
Oakland Terrace Elementary School can receive money donated from stores where you shop. Just do your normal shopping and choose Oakland Terrace as your preferred school.
Below are the guidelines and codes for the stores in our area and online. Get your friends, neighbors and family members to do the same!
GIANT
Giant donates a percentage of all purchases when using the Giant Bonus Card in their stores. Designate OTES #00861 at www.giantfood.com/aplus; call 1-877-366-2668 to register; or complete a Giant Bonus registration form and return it to your child’s teacher. You must re-register every year. The program runs from October-March.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Box Tops for Education is a coupon that can be found on many food and non-food packaging. The box tops are valued at 10 cents each. Cut them out and attach (glue or tape only) to a box tops collection form or seal them in a plastic bag or envelope. Please have your child put them in the collection box located in their classroom. You can go to www.btfe.com to see the full list of products that have box tops on their packaging.

BOX TOPS MARKETPLACE
Do you shop online? If you do, then specific stores will donate directly to Oakland Terrace as you shop! This is a fabulous way to earn easy money that really adds up for our school! First, go to www.btfe.com (under Earn, then Shop Marketplace), register, sign-on, then you can link to the websites of popular stores such as Home Depot (2.5% – the amount donated), Gap (2%), Oriental Trading Company (4%), Barnes & Noble (6%), Best Buy (5%), Snapfish (6%), even airlines, and many others! Shop as you normally would, and Box Tops Marketplace will donate a portion of your qualifying purchase to Oakland Terrace (you can still get things on sale/clearance, use coupons/discount codes, etc.). Get your friends and family to participate, too!
SNIDER’S SUPERMARKET
Sniders will donate 1% of all purchases in their store to OTES. Please put your receipts in an envelope and have your child put them in the “Box Tops for Education” collection box located in your child’s classroom. This program runs continuously through the calendar year. All 2012 receipts MUST be turned in by January 15, 2013 (Receipts older than 2012 cannot be used).
TARGET
Target: Take Charge of Education donates 1% of your purchases at Target and Target.com when using your Target credit card and .5% of Target Visa Credit Card purchases when used at places other than Target. Just visit www.target.com/tcoe, your local Target store, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate OTES #58167. This program runs continuously through the calendar year.
SAFEWAY
Safeway donates up to 3% of purchases when using the Safeway Club Card in the store. Designate OTES #6666867 at www.escrip.com or at the store. Yearly registration is required, and the program runs from October – May.

SQUARE ONE ART
Each year, in coordination with the OTES art department, students turn art projects into wonderful keepsakes. The PTA, through Square One Art, sells a variety of items that are imprinted with students’ art.
